Common questions
The details to help you get started.
Which plans include Expenses?
Manual Expenses is included with active Individual, Pro, and PyME access on SaaS web. Team access continues to follow your plan’s roles and seat limits.
Can I link an expense to a project?
Yes, on Pro and PyME, which include Projects. You can also add optional client and member links where your workspace access allows them.
Can I bill an expense to a client?
Mark an expense billable and add a markup to see a suggested amount to recover. This does not charge the client or create an invoice.
Who can manage expenses?
Owners, admins, and managers can manage expenses. Accountants have read access where team roles are included in the plan.
Does a recurring expense schedule make a payment?
No. A schedule helps organize recurring expense records. It does not pay a vendor or charge a client.
